Ainsworth, a township, a village, and an ecclesiastical parish formed in 1867 from Middleton parish, Lancashire, 1 mile from Bradley-Fold railway station, and 2 1/2 miles E of Bolton, under which there is a post office; money order and telegraph office at Breightmet.
