Description

Borwick, a township in Warton parish, Lancashire, with a station on the Carnforth and Wennington branch of the M.R., 3 miles NNE of Carnforth, under which it has a post office. Acreage, 846; population, 281. Berwick Hall, the seat of the Standishes, gave lodging to Charles II. on his way to Worcester.
