Description

Benniworth, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, on the Wolds, 5 1/2 miles ENE of Wragby, and 1 mile SE from South Willingham station on the G.N.R. There is a post office under Lincoln; money order and telegraph office, Hainton. Acreage, 3024; population, 357. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net yearly value, £212 with residence. the church has a Norman porch, and is good. It was thoroughly restored in 1875. There is a United Free Methodist chapel.
