Description

Bitchfield, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, on the G.N.R., and 3 miles NW of Corby railway station, with a post office under Grantham; money order and telegraph office, Corby. Acreage, 1357 ; population, 161. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln ; net yearly value, £125 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Lincoln. The church, an edifice of stone in the Gothic style, was restored in 1873.
